* Getting fit – I’m actually enjoying trying to get more fit (shocking, i know). I am finding that getting fit is really helping me be less of a moody cow *grins*, helps me sleep better, gives me a reason to start buying cute workout clothes and just makes me feel so much happier in general.
* The Nokia 5800 XM - Next Month this is going to be my new phone and I can't wait. I have had a really ancient phone for too long - current phone has no camera, no music and no cool functions. The Nokia 5800 XM on the other hand is a touch screen, can do plenty of awesome things and is so pretty.
* Avocado with Cottage cheese on toast - This combination is so yummy. Sprinkle on some salt and pepper and it is a great snack. Also, if you have it on healthy seed bread (or similar) and leave off the butter its rather healthy too ;)
* The book im reading - The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova is such an interesting book. I have not been making a lot of time to read lately, but when I do I so enjoy the journey this book is taking me on. It’s a bit dark, very detailed and probably not for everyone. Click here to read more about the book.

What are you currently addicted to?

Currently addicted to Sia. Australian singer. Love her music. Waiting for bloggers to introduce me to more singers.
ReplyDeleteAvo on toast is always a winner. :]
ReplyDeleteYou must watch the lastest survivor in brazil. it was the best one yet i think! :)
ReplyDeleteThe Historian sounds like a good read. I saw on the wikipedia page that sony bought the rights in 2006 to make a film --- did they ever do that? I think I might make that my next read.
ReplyDeleteCurrently I am reading HOUSE by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti
It sounds like you're pretty happy with life at the moment, and that's no nice to see! I'm not a fan of avo, unless it's on a pizza with biltong... and getting fit is surprisingly fun! I take it the running is going well?
ReplyDeleteHave been using that nokia for that last 2 months, brilliant phone, good choice.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently addicted to The Closer. it's almost as good as CSI. Not a big fan of avo either but cottage cheese with pepperdews on pita bread is awesome. I have it a lot on my diet. If you wanna make it even better, add some feta and spices. Delish! when it comes to reality tv, prefer amazing race. but definitely couldn't do survivor either. except maybe for the fact you'd leave the island skinnier!
ReplyDeleteI've given up bread in hopes of a smaller ass... and I am actually addicted to the control of taking back my life! *yay* (because you know, the bread was totally taking it over)
ReplyDeleteI love Avo on toast. I dont know what I am currently addicted to...
ReplyDeleteSleeping... Although I just can't get enough. And eating Hobnobs
ReplyDeleteLove the avocado mention..I will have to try it.

I've always been addicted to Young and the Restless. I have watched it for almost 30 years and I'm only 34!
ReplyDeleteThat avo and cottage cheese sounds good.
ReplyDeleteI am currently addicted to sour worms *sigh* I am considering trying to find a support group!
ReplyDeleteI used to enjoy survivor - not feeling it so much now!
I always love your Current Addictions - that's one of the ways I found True Blood! I can't wait to pick up that book you're reading, it looks so interesting!
ReplyDeleteLet me see:
ReplyDelete1) Scanning ALL my old photos and slides and cataloging them on my PC and Flickr. Never ending projects since I have more than 5,000 images and I am adding more every month.
2) Empire Deluxe: A strategic war game that I have been playing on line with 3 other losers (I mean opponents) for about 5 years now. It is all the same game, we haveing started any new ones in 5 years. We are all closet Napoleons.
3) Trying to find ways to dog proof the house from our 'problem child' Maxximus, our Pit-Bull / Dalmation puppy. He has destroyed most things we own.
4) Getting ready for Burning Man 2009, or at least trying to. I only have about 30 days left...
Toast, avocados and cottage cheese are some of my favorites, but I've never thought of combining them...I'll definitely be giving it a try!
ReplyDeleteCorn Nuts (talk about a snack craving from left field...haven't had them since high school!)
ReplyDeleteSinger/Songwriter Shannon Curtis (she's from LA, is doing a summer tour and performed with my favorite local artist last weekend...I'm hooked)
Running (I'm not a runner, never have been a runner, but for the last 6 weeks, I've been running...and enjoying it...scary!)
