10 things I learnt this weekend

1. Alot of people are actually keen on my book club idea
2. Robert Downey Jnr was a great, quirky Sherlock Holmes
3. I really need to find an exercise buddy in Sea Point
4. Engagement fever seems to be going around big time
5. Frozen margaritas are the best summer drink
6. Its always easy to find parking when you have a bike
7. Bungalow in Camps Bay has cool, huge couches.
8. Zombie + strippers = very bad film
9. Being broke by mid-month is horrid
10. Sometimes I forget that compromising is a two way street

I learnt that the novelty of snow does eventually wear off, and that there is no such thing as too much chocolate (not even chocolate chip cookies with hot chocolate pushes the limit).

Will be interested to follow the book club, but my own book reading is sporadic at times :-)

Completely with you on 5, must still learn 2 for myself.

What I learnt:
a) It's sometimes good to slow down.
b) Cold calamari tastes pretty good the next day, cold mussels not so much.
c) I'm sure there was something else, but I can't remember now. Didn't learn that very well, now did I?

2, 9, and 10 hit the spot, especially 9! Hence, I make it a point to stash 10-15% of my wage bimonthly in a safe place I do not see often so as to avoid being in this kind of rut again.

Totally agree with 5 and 9 and especially hate the fact that I am too 9 to actually get 5. At least it is only 12 days until payday!
