For a while I have been thinking about maybe starting a Being Brazen Book Club for fun....but before I do, I would love some input from you.A few things:
* It will obviously be an online book club (so all can join).
* I think i want it to be more of a sharing of book thoughts, book reviews and book recommendations than an actual, proper book club (so you can read whatever or what i'm reading).
* I will not update it all the time and will also rely on Members to e-mail me reviews or recommendations to put up ('cause its a club, remember?).

Would be fun although I cant promise to be *very* faithful as I read so sporadically! 3 books in a month and then not 1 in 6 months....not verrry consistent.
i love books! yeah, i am a book whore! always reading - sometimes 2 or 3 at a time
I read alot so I'd always be willing to give a recommendation. I like the idea of being more free flowing then deadline based. I'd say go for it girl! I'll make sure to follow it if you do. =)
hmmmm I dont know to be honest. I am thinking like Mel - I like the idea but dont know if I would be consistent at it. Sounds fun though!

Sounds like a really great idea! I love to read and would love to participate if my 3 week old allows me time to read :)
Won't it be more fun if all of us are assigned the same book-and we read it in the same week and put up our different thoughts about the book.
That way it will be more like a real book club-only virtual!

I'd love to be a part of this, I used to read about 4 books a week but my son interrupted that pattern- how rude!! ha ha. Let us know the format once you work it out- I'm with the others that are a bit sporadic.

I have to agree with Nahl. I'd love to belong to an online book club where we actually read the book and then talk about it. I wouldn't mind buying the suggested books. Anyway - I understand that it could get rather crazy when done like that. :)
