I've always wanted a nice, comfy white couch.
Yes, I do realise that they may be rather impractical in some ways (like they probably get dirty really easily) - but I still find them so pretty and versatile.
What do you think of white couches?

They go nicely with red wine, BB. :)
They also go nicely with chocolate.....that you may drop unnoticed and then sit on, thereby melting it into the seat cushions ;-)
Be sure to get machine washable covers...

I feel the same and always thought I'd get one with covers that can wash. Wisely we got a brown leather one - with kids, just more practical. But the white is so pretty.

I bought my from Coricraft 10 yrs ago and amazingly it is still white.
i just banned kids from it.
Red wine and choc are easily washed out!
i just got a white slipcover, its actually easier than a light color because you can just bleach it and get everything out!
I always wanted a white couch...but got children instead. Then the children grew up and I wanted a white couch again...and got grand children. So much for a white couch:)
Makes you kinda wish they were like white cars huh? They do get dirty but it takes longer to actually show.

I love white couches and have owned 2 in my lifetime...slipcovers are easy - simply wash them. I say GET A WHITE COUCH.
I am now into RED couches - I am waiting for my new L shape suede one (for the family/playroom) to arrive as I type! (my last one from boardmans had to go back as it was defective) and I am sitting on my other red couch in an alcove in my lounge!

lol - my mom has a horror story about how my 3 older brothers came in with completely wet jeans (which back in the day the blue dye ran everytime they were wet) and sat on her lovely new white couch... it was ruined forever. lovely blue bum prints on her couch!

Adore both these rooms- the couches are stunning. I think I'd be scared of spilling! I am so clumsy. I love the #s print in the 2nd room!
I Love my comfy white couch. I keep a throw over it though... yip, it sure can gather the dirt without one.
So pretty! The thing that caught my eye though is the print on the wall in the second picture. :)
I love the way they look but with three dogs and baby numero uno on the way I think we'll have to abstain.
definitely into white slipcovers. I am more into pretty armchairs than couches, but happen to have more couches than armchairs. go figure. And only one white slipcover on a tiny desk chair. what's up with that?
