I always enjoy looking at the red carpet photos from the Costume Institute Gala held at the Met (in NYC). This year there were loads of stunning dresses, but sadly there were also some awful choices on celebs I really like. Here are my top choices for best and worst dressed...
BEST: Anne Hathaway (left) in a stunning Valentino gown and Bulgari diamonds (such a princess gown). Rachel Weisz (right) in an Oscar de la Renta dress with Fred Leighton jewels (gorgeous lady, gorgeous pink dress).
WORST: Leighton Meester (left) in a ill fitting Marc Jacobs dress (why, Leighton, why?). Kristen Stewart (right) in a black Chanel dress with her trademark unimpressed look (not pretty)

I agree with your choices a 110%! Now Ms. Stewart over there.....if your going some place where Ann Hatheway would wear that stunning of a gown why in the world would you think that would be acceptable? Yes it's Chanel but it looks more like a party dress you'd wear for a birthday or clubbing not the Met. Yeesh!
Kristen Stewart looks like she must be a real pain to hang out with.
My favorite dress of the night was on Claire Danes. Heck yeah, that one was awesome!
I think Leighton's and Kirtsen's dresses are lovely - they just don't fit the girls at all. Kristen looks like a hunchback - she should work on her posture. Anne and Rachel really rock their dresses that might otherwise look bad on somebody else.
I really liked Donatella Versace's dress but, well, what can I say about the model.

I love Anne's dress...why would you want to look like a dork when you have so much money and you can look like a princess...I ask you:0

I concur, with all of your opinions. Not a fan of that Kirsten girl so wouldn't notice her in much but yes, why Leighton, why? Although, from picking up on her Gossip Girl wardrobe, it's always a little weird. Although I'm sure it's all down to her stylist on the show.
She doesn't look too bad though. I can see what she's going for. I think it's more a case of having the wrong figure for that dress.
Definitely, love Miss Hathaway's dress, looks like it's right out of a fairytale!
I think KStew's dress would have been better if it went all the way to the floor as a solid black.

Kristen Stewart needs to STOP TRYING SO HARD to be all edgy and punky! Anne Hathaway is looking oo skinny - all through Alice in Wonderland all I could think when I looked at her was that all her features now look too big for her face! Rachel Weisz is a classy lady... loved her dress the best of this selection.. but I thought JLo really looked stunning!
